Research interests
My interests are diverse, and frequently have to do genome regulation and gene expression modulation. The questions which excite my curiosity the most are: how are gene expression programs coded? and maintained? how do they change during development? and in disease, particularly cancer?
I am also interested in digital transformation in life sciences (aka bioinformatics), including reproducible software, human-centered design, and efficient data structures.
I am a free software and open science advocate.
I am currently a 'post{1,4}doc' at the Statistical Bioinformatics - Mark D. Robinson's lab, Department of Molecular Life Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Zurich, Switzerland and have worked with Magalini Polymenidou, Tuncay Baubec, Miguel A. Peinado and Marcos Egea-Cortines.
